Bev Kippenhan is an actor, director, and arts administrator based in NYC. She has dedicated the last 15 years to learning and creating, with special interests in immersive theatre and making the classics accessible for modern audiences.
In 2020 Bev completed her Master's in Classical Acting at Bath Spa University in the UK, where she realized her dream of performing on Shakespeare's Globe - on the eve of the pandemic. For her thesis she researched, created, and performed a piece that depicted the impact of isolation on the human mind and explored how theatre can be a coping mechanism and reflection tool - called Reaching.
Most recently she directed Verona Falls, a fresh reimagined follow up to William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet that begs us to consider what we want to protect and what we're willing to sacrifice to get what we want.
